Eat Early provides an online booking portal where local restaurants can offer early tables for a certain time and number of people at a discounted offer of up to 50% off the total food bill. Eat Early charges each person a price to receive the discounted rate allocated by the restaurant. Eat Early extensively markets ‘restaurants’ on their behalf.
The restaurant portal displays times, dates, menus, prices, the allocated discount rate and availability for each restaurant and their available early tables. These available slots are allocated by the restaurant and not by Eat Early. Restaurants are organised by region across the UK. Each restaurant operates under its own operating hours and rules. This information will be described in the listing of each restaurant. The restaurant reserves the right to refuse any Eat Early customer for not abiding by the rules of the restaurant establishment.
Once you have selected a restaurant, date, time and number of people, you will then be taken to our secure online payment gateway. Once you have paid for the voucher, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address by us, with all the necessary details, including a booking reference number. This reference number will need to be presented at the restaurant to secure the table. If a booking confirmation email is not shown upon arrival, the restaurants reserve the right to refuse to honour the reservation or the discount offer. Please therefore ensure you have given the correct contact details for confirmation receipts to be sent.
Unless you make the booking within 24 hours of the time of the reservation you will also receive an email reminder 1 (one) day prior to your reservation. The restaurants reserve the right to re-sell your allocated table if you arrive 15 (fifteen) minutes later than the allocated time. Eat Early will not be held liable for the re-selling of allocated tables. If a booking confirmation email is not shown upon arrival, the restaurants reserve the right to refuse the offer. If you do not receive a confirmation email of your booking, please contact the support team – email@example.com
Any questions or concerns you have about your reservation must be taken up directly with the relevant restaurant.
Price and Payment
The cost of the Eat Early discount voucher is £1.00 per person including VAT. The total cost will be shown on the check out page and billing page. Prices are subject to change. This price is only for the discount voucher and is not payment for any of the bill at the restaurant. This price is not deductible from the total bill payable at the restaurant. You are entitled to the allocated discount rate set by the restaurant which will then be deducted from the total food bill for the allocated time and place once payment for the Eat Early discount voucher has been made. This does not include wet sales (drinks).
Payment is taken through our secure online payment gateway – Stripe (www.stripe.co.uk). Stripe operates under its own terms and conditions which should be adopted by all users.
Cancellations and Refunds
You are allowed to cancel your booking at any period of time. However, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to another time or another person. We do ask that any cancellation should be notified to Eat Early Ltd as soon as possible via email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Eat Early provides a service on an ‘as-is’ and ‘as available’ basis. Neither Eat Early or any restaurant shall have any liability to you FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES IN ADVANCE.
The restaurant and dining services which you book are provided to you by the relevant restaurant and not by us. When making a booking you are entering into a contract with that restaurant and not with us. We have no responsibility or liability to you under or in relation to or arising out of such contract.
Each restaurant operates under its own rules and regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure you are satisfied with the standard of each restaurant. Please be aware of any allergy information in each menu. For the avoidance of doubt, Eat Early will not be liable for or in respect of any activity in the restaurant at the allocated time period.
Neither Eat Early, nor the relevant restaurant shall be responsible to the others for any delay or non-performance of its obligations under this agreement arising from any cause beyond its control including, without limitation, any of the following: act of God, governmental act, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil commotion.
If any provision of this agreement is judged to be illegal or unenforceable, the continuation in full force and effect of the remainder of the provisions shall not be prejudiced.
